Sodium Gluconate

Airedale Chemical Sodium Gluconate is the sodium salt of Gluconic Acid produced by the fermentation of Glucose. It holds a molecular formula of NaC6H11O7 and is primarily used as a chelating agent. Sodium Gluconate has good sequestering properties; it is stable under extreme conditions of temperature (< 90°C) and alkalinity.

Included in Detergents formulations as well as the cleaning of equipment

Textile Chemicals & Dyes

Cleaning and degreasing of fibres

Water Treatment

Softener in water treatment.

Others

Concrete and plaster admixtures as both retardant and plasticizer. Assists with the removal of concrete deposits.

Treatment of metallic surfaces, metal degreasing, aluminium etching. Effective sequestrant for: calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminium, copper and manganese in strongly alkaline conditions.
