Mono Potassium Phosphate

A highly soluble salt with various industrial applications, most commonly used as a fertiliser or food additive.

Overview

MKP is popular in fertiliser manufacture, particularly for hydroponics and the greenhouse trade. A source of phosphorus and potassium, it has high solubility and a relatively low pH, suiting it to various crops.

It is also a food additive holding E-number E340, functioning as an emulsifier, buffering agent and nutrient source. It is also applied as a buffering agent in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, cleaning products and more.

Our monopotassium phosphate is available as a solid powder and liquid in a range of bulk sizes.
